Proudly Serving Since 1978
Two Stations. One Mission. Protecting Santee Every Day. Proudly Serving Santee Since 1978. Dial 911 for Emergencies.
Our team includes paid and volunteer personnel cross-trained in firefighting, vehicle extrication, rescue, and pre-hospital care.

Rooted in service and strengthened by training, the Santee Fire Service District is committed to delivering professional fire protection, emergency medical response, and life safety education to the citizens of our community. Through ongoing education, mutual aid partnerships, and a deep connection to our residents, we work to protect lives, property, and the future of Santee.
To lead a responsive, prepared, and community-focused fire service that continues to evolve through training, innovation, and a shared commitment to public safety. We aim to build on our strong foundation and serve as a trusted resource for every member of the Santee Fire Service District, from our youngest Junior Firefighter to our most senior resident.
We exist to serve. Every call, every training, and every community interaction reflects our dedication to the people who rely on us.
We believe preparation saves lives. Ongoing training has been part of our culture since 1979, when our first class of 22 volunteers graduated from the South Carolina Fire Academy, and it continues to define our department today.
We act with honesty, accountability, and professionalism on every call, in every uniform, and within every interaction.
Our roots are here. From our Junior Firefighter program to our public education efforts, we’re proud to serve generations of Santee residents.
We stand stronger together. Our long-standing partnerships with departments in Eutawville and Vance reflect our belief in collaboration, trust, and unified response.
