Trainings & Programs

Our team includes paid and volunteer personnel cross-trained in firefighting, vehicle extrication, rescue, and pre-hospital care.

Fire Suppression & EMS

The Santee Fire Department is funded through a public tax district, but many of our outreach programs, community events, and training initiatives are supported by the generosity of residents, businesses, and partners.

When you give, you help us:

  • Host station tours and school visits
  • Maintain and expand the Junior Firefighter Program
  • Provide smoke detectors and fire safety materials to families in need
  • Keep our equipment updated and ready for anything
  • Support volunteer firefighter training and recruitment
